Philip L. Fioravante, PhD is a well-rounded business executive, as well as a seasoned academic.
He has constructed and taught classes at the graduate level for over fifteen years. In addition, he is a Visiting Scholar at The College of Engineering at Michigan State University.
Dr. Fioravante has extensive private equity experience and corporate-level and has had responsibility as Chairman, President, CEO, and a Board Member of several US and International companies. He has participated in launching two startup firms and has participated in over a dozen mergers and acquisitions.
Dr. Fioravante has extensive experience developing proprietary approaches in both market and product development. Moreover, he has a copyright on a Marketing Toolkit which has been adopted by several domestic and international technology-based clients.
During his over thirty years in business, Dr. Fioravante has mentored several young associates and he is very involved with philanthropic initiatives, including Board-level Foundation work. He has been a guest speaker and panel member at many industry and educational sessions on an international level, including as the keynote speaker. In addition, he has published several peer reviewed articles and a book in the areas of corporate philanthropy and the value proposition in strategic philanthropy.
Dr. Fioravante has a B.S. in Applied Engineering Sciences, Manufacturing Engineering from Michigan State University, a MBA in International Business from Wayne State University (Detroit, MI), attended an Advanced Executive Program (Technology and Strategy) at MIT and his received Ph.D. – Organizational Management (Strategy & Innovation) from the Business and Technology College at Capella University (Minneapolis, MN). Dr. Fioravante is currently in post-doctorate studies and initiatives at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
